What is OVERFLOW?

A transformative journey currently in Atlanta, Georgia. Designed for those who seek to honor God while moving their bodies in worship to the great I Am. This divine encounter invites singles and couples to join a community of dedicated disciples of Jesus Christ on Saturday mornings. Together, we focus on our spiritual and physical stewardship without the hidden agenda of yoga. Through an uplifting one hour worship session filled with passionate praise, heartfelt cries, and prophetic movement to the Most High God, followed by one hour of deep scriptural exploration through guided journaling prompts, then enriching fellowship. We embrace the divine purpose of our body as the Holy Spirit's temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), aligning our physical presence with our spiritual devotion. Elohim created our bodies, and His divine order is for us to honor it.

Overview

[Philippians 1:6] NKJV "being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"

Worship

Our gatherings begin with a unique and Spirit-led worship experience that invites participants to move their bodies in response to the presence of God. These prophetic movement sessions are not structured like traditional fitness or yoga classes—instead, they are an open, Spirit-guided form of worship through intentional, expressive movement. Whether standing, kneeling, dancing, or stretching, every action is rooted in reverence for the Most High. This time allows the community to release burdens, offer praise, and connect with God in both body and spirit.

Study

Following worship, we engage in a focused time of scriptural exploration. Participants receive hand-selected Bible passages and journaling prompts designed to deepen their personal walk with Christ. This hour provides space for quiet reflection, Spirit-led writing, and intimate conversations with God. We emphasize listening to the Holy Spirit, applying scripture to everyday life, and growing in biblical understanding—all while documenting the journey through purposeful journaling.

Fellowship

Overflow isn’t just a Saturday event—it’s a growing community of believers committed to spiritual and physical stewardship. After worship and journaling, participants are invited to stay for intentional fellowship, where we share testimonies, pray for one another, and build authentic relationships. This time of connection is vital to the Overflow mission, as we create a safe, encouraging space for singles and couples to be seen, supported, and spiritually nourished.

Itinerary

[Philippians 4:8] NKJV "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things."

Hour 1: Prophetic Movement Worship

“Worship in Spirit and in Truth—through every breath, every motion.”

The first hour of Overflow is a sacred time of worship through movement—an immersive, Spirit-led experience where participants are invited to honor God with their bodies.

What to Expect:

Open Worship Atmosphere: Gentle music, passionate praise, and a space set apart for reverence and release.

Spirit-Guided Movement: No choreography, no pressure—just prophetic movement led by the Holy Spirit. Participants are free to stretch, kneel, dance, or rest as the Lord leads.

Intentional Stewardship: We embrace the truth of (1 Corinthians 6:19–20), treating our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit. Every movement is an act of surrender, gratitude, and worship to Elohim.

Freedom from Secular Influence: Overflow is not yoga. There are no hidden spiritual systems—only pure, biblical worship through the body, heart, and soul.

This hour is a divine invitation to let go of burdens, express adoration, and commune with God in a deeply personal and physical way. It sets the tone for healing, reflection, and transformation.

Hour 2: Guided Scriptural Reflection & Journaling

“Be still and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10

After an hour of powerful worship through movement, we transition into a sacred time of stillness, reflection, and revelation.

What to Expect:

Scripture-Focused Exploration: Each session features carefully selected Bible passages that speak to the heart of spiritual and physical stewardship, identity in Christ, and divine purpose.

Guided Journaling Prompts: Participants receive thoughtful, Holy Spirit-inspired prompts that encourage deep introspection and real-time application of God’s Word.

Quiet Time with the Father: This hour is intentionally quiet and reverent. Phones are silenced, distractions are set aside, and hearts are tuned in to hear the voice of God.

Personal Encounters: Whether it's through tears, breakthroughs, or moments of clarity, participants often receive fresh revelation, healing, and direction during this time.

This hour is not a Bible study—it is a personal encounter with the Word of God, crafted to bring transformation, intimacy with the Father, and a deeper understanding of one’s divine calling.

Who Overflow Is NOT For

Those Seeking a Secular or New Age Experience

Overflow is unapologetically Christ-centered. This is not a yoga class, meditation circle, or wellness trend—it is a sacred, Spirit-led gathering grounded in biblical truth. If you're looking for a spiritually-neutral or multi-faith environment, Overflow may not align with your expectations.

Disciples Hungry for Intimacy with the Holy Spirit

Overflow is a time of deep worship, scriptural reflection, and surrender to God. While you don’t need to be a Bible expert or seasoned worshiper, a heart open to encountering Jesus is essential. If you're uncomfortable with vocal worship, prophetic movement, or engaging in scripture, this may not be the right space for you.

Those Disrespectful of Sacred Spaces or Community Values

Overflow cultivates a holy, safe environment. We welcome all who come with humility, reverence, and a desire to grow. However, anyone who disrupts the atmosphere through mockery, distraction, or behavior that dishonors the Spirit of God or others will be asked to leave out of respect for the community and the sacredness of the space.

Who Overflow Is For

Believers Who Desire to Worship God with Their Whole Selves

Overflow is for individuals and couples who long to honor God not just with their words, but with their bodies, hearts, and lives. If you’re seeking a deeper, embodied expression of worship—one that engages both spirit and movement—this space was created for you.

Disciples Hungry for Intimacy with the Holy Spirit

This gathering is for those who want to go beyond surface-level faith and encounter the living God in a personal, transformative way. Whether you're in a season of healing, breakthrough, or quiet pursuit, Overflow offers a space to listen, reflect, and be renewed through scripture, journaling, and prayer.

Christians Looking for a Faith-Filled, Judgment-Free Community

Overflow welcomes people who desire authentic connection with like-minded believers. If you're tired of performance-based environments and want to grow in a space that’s rooted in love, reverence, and truth, Overflow invites you to come as you are and journey deeper together.

Frequently Asked Questions

[Matthew 7:7] NKJV "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you".

Is Overflow a yoga class?

No. Overflow is not yoga, nor does it incorporate any yoga principles or spiritual practices. We offer a completely biblically-based alternative focused on prophetic movement and worship unto the Lord. Every part of the session is rooted in scripture and led by the Holy Spirit.

Do I need to be physically fit or flexible to participate?

Not at all. Overflow is for every body—all shapes, sizes, ages, and levels of physical ability. There’s no pressure to move in a specific way. The goal is to move freely and reverently in response to God’s presence, honoring your body in whatever way feels right and safe for you.

What should I bring to a session?

We recommend bringing:

  • EXERCISE mat or soft surface for movement and journaling (NO YOGA MAT)

  • Bible

  • Journal and preferred writing tool

  • Bottled drink

  • An open heart ready for worship and encounter

We also provide printed prompts and scripture if needed.

Is this only for women?

No. Overflow is open to both men and women, singles and couples. Our community is diverse, and we believe God calls everyone—regardless of gender—to worship Him with their whole selves.

Do I need to register in advance?

Because our space and capacity vary, pre-registration is required to ensure everyone has room to move and participate comfortably. Details will be shared via our social media and email list.

Is there a cost to attend?

Overflow currently operates on a donation-based model to cover venue, equipment, and material expenses.

What’s the age range for participants?

While Overflow is currently geared toward adults, mature teens (13+) are welcome with a parent or guardian. We may offer family or youth sessions in the future as the ministry grows.

Can I just come for part of the session?

While you're welcome to come when you have availability in your schedule, we encourage participants to experience the full two-hour journey—movement, scripture, and fellowship—so they receive the complete spiritual and physical renewal God has for them.
